Let's study John

The Gospel according to John has been described as being so simple that a child can wade in it, and so deep that an elephant can swim in it. This demonstrates that the same Gospel serves as a starting point for those new to Christianity, and at the same time is a favorite place for those who know and love the Bible well. Mark Johnston guides us through John's account of the life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He shows that the Gospel according to John can be considered the contemplative Gospel: a selection of Christ's works and words for deep meditation. John takes us by the hand and leads us into the depths and mysteries of Christ's person and the wonders He has performed, so that the reader may come to a living faith in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God, and attain eternal life in His Name.
