War in Iraq! Once again, the world finds itself in the midst of a conflict of enormous proportions, the repercussions of which we cannot fully foresee at this moment. This conflict is not limited to Iraq and its surroundings; rather, it has sparked a war of opinion around the world that is not always waged peacefully. How should Christians respond in times of war? How should they react? To answer these questions, we must take a step back and ask: What does God say about wars in His Word? Does Scripture provide us with a framework to evaluate this war or any other?
Pastor Sugel Michelen addresses these questions in these two transcribed and edited sermons, which were preached following the attack by the United States Armed Forces and their allies against Iraq on March 20, 2003.
