A Faith for the Third Millennium

For many, the Reformed faith is something like a heavy granite slab with a theology suitable only for initiates, which is fine as a museum piece but not appropriate for today, as it is often associated with the most formal and frigid ecclesiastical environments. However, despite its emphasis on the basic doctrines of the Reformation—"for it cannot be otherwise, unless we renounce our roots"—A Faith for the Third Millennium opens itself widely to an authentic life of piety and genuine worship, to Christian ethics, and to the world around us with the great aspects of reality that we must live, all built upon solid biblical foundations, far removed from the emotionalism currently in vogue.

The chapter dedicated to the exposition of the main doctrines of grace uses a decisive dialectic, with firm answers to the most common objections made to some Calvinist doctrines, but always argued with an analysis of the corresponding texts from the Word of God. All the authors of this work follow this line, which could very well be titled "Doctrines of Grace."
