Personal evangelism is having a conversation with a person about the destiny of their soul and their relationship with God. It is confronting the person with their lost condition in sin and teaching them about the forgiveness God offers through the cross. We often encounter many opportunities to share the gospel, but many don't know how to break the ice to transition to spiritual matters. Using icebreaker tracts will help you overcome fears of approaching people and allow you to start a conversation to witness.

This is a very peculiar icebreaker tract. It's the size of a normal banknote and also looks very real. The banknote is not fake because such a denomination does not exist, so no one can sue or accuse you. Nor is it real because no such thing exists in real life. The truth is that it is very attractive to people and almost everyone wants to have one.

The way to use it is as follows: You approach the person with a smile, show it to them, and say:

- Hi, have you already been given one of these?

-- No, ha...ha... What is it?

- It's the million-dollar bill... It's not real, but it's not fake either because the denomination doesn't exist... (jokingly say to them)...it's good if they give you change...ha ha... No, seriously, you know, it has the million-dollar question... Do you know what it is?

-- No, what is it?

- It says: Will you go to heaven?... (Immediately look them in the eyes and ask) What do you think happens when people die?

-- I don't know, I think they go to heaven or hell.

- And you, what do you think? Do you consider yourself a good person to go there?

If they tell you they don't believe in heaven or hell, ask them:

- If heaven existed, would you consider yourself a good person to go there?

The rest of the conversation should be more or less a dialogue similar to the text on the back of the bill:

The Million Dollar Question: Will you go to Heaven? Take this short quiz. Have you ever lied, stolen anything, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said: "Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Have you ever looked at anyone with lust? Will you be found guilty on Judgment Day? If you have done these things, God sees that in your heart you are a liar, a thief, a blasphemer, and an adulterer. The Bible warns that if you are guilty, you will end up in Hell. That is not God's will. He sent His Son to live a sinless life, to suffer and die on the cross for you. Jesus took your punishment upon Himself - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Then He rose from the dead and conquered death. I urge you to repent (turn from sin) today and trust in Jesus, and God will give you eternal life. Then, read your Bible every day and obey its teachings.
