Hudson Taylor (1832-1905). Spiritual Secrets. In 1865, he founded the China Inland Mission, at that time a closed Empire. He lived without imperial support, trusting that God, who had called him to this mission, would supply all his needs. For 50 years, God demonstrated His faithfulness and granted him the desire to reach almost all of China with the Gospel. Taylor, who endured much suffering, including the loss of 4 of his children and his first wife, shares the spiritual secrets of his life and work and assures us that God's power is available today.

George Müller (1805-1898). Faith. A giant of faith, known for the numerous orphanages he built and maintained in Ashley Down, Bristol, England. He took care of 10,024 orphans and established 117 schools where more than 120,000 children received a Christian education. He contributed generously to other missions, although from the beginning he refused to receive a salary and to ask for financial help for himself or his projects. Müller shares the transformative secret of confidently approaching God's throne to receive provision for all needs.

Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892). Prayer. He is known as the "Prince of Preachers." At the age of 21, he was the most popular preacher in England. As a young man, it was common to see him preach 10 to 12 times a day. Despite his gift of oratory, his confidence was always in the Spirit of God and not in himself. A great believer and teacher of prayer and preaching led by the Holy Spirit. With his masterful pen, he describes the majesty of the throne of grace and adoring prayer. In addition to his pastoral duties and hundreds of writings, he founded Sunday schools, churches, and an orphanage.
