Theology and Diversity: Ecotheology, Culture of Encounter and Mutual Care

The book addresses topics that are currently of great interest: ecotheology, the culture of encounter, and caring for one another. We believe that this interest is related to our growing awareness of the connection between theology and wonderful diversity. Certainly, there are many other theological categories and subjects that address the theme of diversity in its various possibilities and spheres. But in this work, we focus on those already mentioned, inspired by the challenges posed by Pope Francis. Theology is not a bubble enclosed in itself; rather, its purpose is to show the incarnation of Christian revelation. This work, by embracing diversity, demonstrates care for our common home, care for one another, and the culture of encounter. The latter is manifested as the ability to meet others, in an attitude of listening, dialogue, and discernment, to build bridges that allow various religious and civic actors to collectively face challenges in order to seek and build the common good, social peace, and fraternity.
