If you want to know what the Bible teaches about sex, you need to establish how you will search the Scriptures to find that information. By investigating the different variations of the word "sex" in it, we find that it almost always appears in the context of sexual immorality (the Greek term used is "porneia," from which the word "pornography" is derived). So you might conclude that the Bible cannot teach us much about sex, and therefore, when it addresses the topic of sexuality, it does so only in a negative, prohibitive, and prudish way. But that would be a rather superficial conclusion.
In fact, Scripture has much to teach us about sex, because the Bible has much to say about all topics. So instead of just looking for the word "sex," there is a more productive strategy, which is to look for the expression "all things" in the Bible, since sex is a subset belonging to all things. But it's not just about studying this topic, but about understanding what sex means for the believer and what lessons they can learn to understand their personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
