This is a serious book about joy in God. We find our deepest and most lasting happiness only in Him, in the God in whom the Scriptures command us to rejoice. This God-centered joy is kindled by worship, prayer, and the Bible, and poured out on others through service and mission. When we practice this "Christian hedonism," as Piper says, we will be aware of our: Glorifying God by enjoying Him forever.
