The great preacher C. H. Spurgeon dedicated a good part of his life to completing his magnum opus; an extensive commentary on the book of Psalms which he titled The Treasury of David. Its value lies not only in his verse-by-verse exposition of each psalm but also in his selection of the best commentaries on them by the Church Fathers, the Reformers, the Puritans, up to the contemporary commentators of his era. Thus, The Treasury of David compiles the best that has been said and written about each psalm from the 2nd century until the end of the 19th century.
The purpose of this Psalm 23 is to introduce, as an example, the magnum opus that will include all the complete psalms and which Editorial CLIE will publish shortly in two large and extensive volumes.
