Guidance for Leaders

The author says:

For 21 years I served in Chile as a missionary, teaching in a seminary and planting churches.

When new churches were started, the need arose for resources to train new leaders, not only to increase their biblical and theological knowledge, which is absolutely essential, but also to develop their practical ministry skills and to help them grow spiritually.

For the past 18 years, my wife Angelica and I have lived in Miami, working in distance education.

We prepare resources and travel to different countries to teach.

In the context of this ministry, I have been asked for resources to train leaders.

This manual is a combination of the first materials used in Chile and other new materials used in recent years, especially in Cuba, Spain and Central America.

The book serves to prepare all types of "ministers," and especially for the training of elders and deacons.

It could even be an initial orientation for pastors.

But it is appropriate for anyone who wishes to serve the church, whether lay or official, adult or young, man or woman.
