Not against flesh and blood

The ultimate explanation for the course of human history is that, in the end, it is nothing more than the stage where an intense conflict takes place between God and the forces of heaven, on the one hand, and the devil and the forces of evil and hell on the other. The church and Christians must always be aware that "we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12).

The author reminds us that the devil acts not only on individuals but also on nations, and attributes the confusion and chaos of the society in which we live to Satan's destructive work. He also states that in an era when fascination with astrology, the occult, spiritualism, and "doctrines of demons" is re-emerging, ignorance of these things will inevitably lead us to be defeated by them. At the same time, he reminds us that God has the final victory since He has set a day when the devil and his forces will be crushed and the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of righteousness, will reign over all.
