What Paul's Letters Teach Us.

Our prayers often become repetitive and routine, like a well-worn path we tread almost without thinking. This is also often accompanied by a deep desire to pray differently, to pray for matters of eternal significance, but without knowing how or where to begin. Hence the idea of Beyond My Prayer List. In his letters, the apostle Paul shows us the way in that direction. By reading how he prayed for believers, whether for the churches he knew or for those with whom he had some kind of relationship, we understand that it is possible to pray in a different way. We can pray for those things that will lead us to a better understanding of who God is, our position in Christ, and our walk as disciples.
