It is with great pleasure that I recommend this work to all theology students. The New Covenant, as prophesied in the Old Testament, is often treated lightly in terms of its fulfillment in the New Testament. Sam Waldron has done us a favor by clearly explaining the meaning of the original prophecy in its context and establishing its fulfillment according to New Testament declarations. His exposition of the errors of others is accompanied by grace, and reveals that they fundamentally misunderstand the meaning of the New Covenant and its current fulfillment in the Church of Jesus Christ. His explanation of the implications of the New Covenant, when well understood, provides a guide and a blueprint for establishing biblical churches today. He provides us with a Manifesto, rooted in the very meaning of the New Covenant.

Among the many interfaces in theology, a fascinating area is the relationship of the New Covenant to the Old.
