In this book, Dr. Justo L. González presents the true meaning of biblical stewardship. As the title indicates, this book deals with stewardship in the Bible, in the church, and in the world. There is a serious biblical study of the topic in the Old Testament and then in the New Testament, focusing on some of Jesus' parables on the subject. Then there are a couple of chapters dedicated to the study of stewardship in church history, culminating with a current understanding of stewardship in the life of the church and in the relationship of believers with the world.

The author presents an excellent study of stewardship as a way to describe the integral relationship of human beings with God and with the rest of the world.
