There are three main eschatological positions that differ in their perspective regarding the advent of the Kingdom of God. The viewpoint used for the present study is one that recognizes a distinction between the “already” – the present state of the Kingdom already inaugurated by Christ – and the “not yet” – the final establishment of the Kingdom that will take place at Christ’s second coming.
In line with the thesis that eschatology is a reality that encompasses both the present and the future, the study is divided into two sections: inaugurated eschatology and future eschatology.
May the Lord use this work to help us rejoice in His decisive victory over sin and death, and to eagerly anticipate the final consummation of that victory in the life to come.
