Antonio Cruz's book "Introduction to Christian Apologetics" is a response to the hostile trend in our current world and society, which tends to ridicule religion and Christian faith in particular, and, of course, the existence of God. It uses scientific, philosophical, and social arguments to ultimately show that Christian faith is "unscientific, unreasonable, etc."
The main reason for the book is precisely to answer fundamental questions of Christianity with the intention of providing useful apologetic tools, not only for young people, but also for all those who require them, and to scientifically substantiate "The evidence for God."
There are thirteen chapters that, without being exhaustive, cover the main topics of the controversy between faith and unbelief.
Topics such as: apologetics, cosmology, design, morality, the problem of evil, the relationship between science and theology, the origin of the universe and life, the theory of evolution, the Bible as divine inspiration, the concept of miracle, the resurrection of Jesus, the historicity of Jesus, the main religious worldviews compared to Christianity, etc.
Thus, providing arguments and answers to current questions such as:
Where have we failed? What theological and rational foundations have we instilled in the younger generations? Why do they abandon their Christian beliefs? How is it that they cannot give a reason for their faith? Has there been too much emphasis on feelings and too little on arguments or spiritual reflection? How can we reverse this reality?
