Why should you learn Greek? While there may be many answers to this question, there is one that is most impactful: When explaining His Word to others, we must place emphasis where God placed it. This is difficult without knowing the Greek language.

Greek is easier than you think. Many people do not learn Greek because they think it will be very difficult, as difficult as learning English, but this is not the case. Firstly, Spanish and Greek are very similar, more so than Spanish and English. Furthermore, learning biblical Greek is much easier because it is a non-spoken language.

This introductory grammar will be of practical help to you because it was written with the student and pastor in mind, meaning reading Greek is not the end goal. The purpose is to know God better through His word. Therefore, the exegesis and examples that are introduced will help you understand Greek and how to apply it to your ministry.

This book aims to teach Greek specifically to Spanish speakers. Although this sounds obvious, it is not the case for many grammars. Sadly, most Greek grammars in Spanish have been translated from works originally written in English, or at least copy their methods. Another benefit of this book is that it has been written with the help of a computer that calculates the frequency of vocabulary use and grammatical forms. Since the goal is only to learn the words and forms that occur in the New Testament, the student does not have to memorize words and forms if they are not common in the NT. With this in mind, the author has tried to help the student know what is most important, and what is not.
