In Sacred Union with a pastor

The author says:

God has chosen to place His precious flock in the hands of pastors and elders who are His co-pastors (1 Peter 5:1-4). These married men could not carry out their mission without the help of their wives; associated with them, they can fulfill the role of protecting and nurturing the flock so that when "the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory." This means you will have a part in the reward your husband will receive for his service.

You too, dear sister, have a significant role in your husband's life and ministry. You too can see God do great things through your faithfulness and loving support. Because I've been in your shoes, I know it's not easy. We have a kind of sisterhood because of what we mutually share. As believers, we are one with the Good Shepherd, who bought His flock with His death on the cross; apart from Him, we can do nothing; if we remain in Him, we can achieve many things. Likewise, the greater the unity in our marriage with a shepherd of the Lord's flock, the more effective we will be in our personal calling.
