True spirituality is not born from an internal intuition nor does it develop based on our own efforts. It comes to us from outside. God has spoken and has left His words recorded in the Bible. These words are life. His Word comes to us, and the Spirit enlivens them within us. The process is sometimes painful and strenuous, like childbirth, but its end is "Christ formed in us" (Gal. 4:19). Discovering the dynamics of this process should be the main goal of our lives.
