The Covenant of Grace (J. G. Vos)

Dr. Johannes Geerhardus Vos, son of the well-known Reformed theologian Geerhardus Vos, is one of the most prolific Reformed Presbyterian theologians, a theological descendant of the Covenanters, in his ministry to America and Europe.

Dr. J.G. Vos was a prominent Bible teacher, Reformed theologian, pastor, and missionary. He taught at Geneva College from 1954 to 1973 when he retired and continued part-time until approximately 1975. For most of those years, he also served as chair of the Bible department.

In his work to preserve Reformed Presbyterian doctrine, covenant doctrine, he used his passion for our Lord and his sharp intellect to bring this work to us.

Covenant Theology is the biblical theology par excellence of the Reformed faith, which is often associated solely with mere academic and intellectual knowledge; however, Dr. Vos presents this theology to us in a practical way.
