The Gospel in Our World is the first volume in "The Reformed Pulpit" series of sermons preached by Juan S. Boonstra on Argentine radio. His most popular program was "The Reformation Hour," broadcast on more than 400 stations worldwide.

It is a book that contains a large number of sermons adapted for radio programs, touching on topics as current as: drug use and trade, religious charlatans, the destruction of the home, modern sodomy, sports fever, and a long etcetera of topics. In addition, Boonstra shows in his writings a great facility for making the eternal God a close God, so that we can see that all of God's counsel serves us for all of life. His writings are capable of making great doctrines understood with simple and accessible words for different social and age groups.

"We recommend this book to every believer, but especially to preachers and pastors who are developing ministries linked to the media." Samuel BarcelĂł.

"Few people have been used by our Lord Jesus Christ as He used our brother Dr. Juan Boonstra. His radio and television messages had a great impact on the lives of my entire family and on my own personally. We still have the same comments today on Radio Exclusiva and Channel 27, and his programs are still broadcast today. For our television viewers and radio listeners, Dr. Juan Boonstra is still alive. They don't even know that he is already in the presence of the Lord! We thank God for His humble and tender-hearted servant and ask that his memory and work continue to glorify His Holy Name" From Celsino Gama, minister of "The Back to God Hour."

"Without even knowing who Reverend Juan Boonstra was, I began reading his sermons when I attended seminary. Even the titles he chose were complete works of art. The sculptor's chisel could be appreciated in every concise and refined phrase; he developed his ideas with growing emotion, and there was a melodic sound even in the words he chose. It wasn't until sometime later that I had the opportunity to finally hear his own voice in recordings and to serve as his translator on several of his trips to Brazil. Reading his sermons again, I keenly feel the emptiness his death has left, though, at the same time, I again feel his presence very close." Dr. Jaime Adams, pastor, missionary, author of "Freedom: God's Gospel"
