Deacons, as the New Testament teaches, should be involved in a compassionate ministry, caring for the poor and needy.
As Christians, we must understand the vital importance of deacons, so that those in our churches who are in need or suffering can be cared for in a completely biblical way.
A New Testament church cannot shirk its responsibility to recognize those who have been equipped to fulfill this ministry of mercy.
