The Heidelberg Catechism is an ancient document that has been accepted by the Reformed Church as one of the Three Forms of Unity, and concisely expresses Reformed doctrines. The main content is the only comfort in both life and death, and teaches how a sinner can obtain this comfort. The content of the Catechism is essentially timeless; the truths expounded in it are new and fresh every time we study them.
