The Glorified Body of Christ

'Glorious' would probably not be the first adjective modern writers would use to describe the Christian Church. However, R. B. Kuiper chose this title quite intentionally, for he wanted to emphasize a lamentably neglected element when speaking of this subject: that the Church of Christ is glorious.

Dr. Kuiper was a professor of theology for many decades, and his greatest concern was to present Christian doctrine in an accessible way to everyone. In addition to his clear and energetic style, Kuiper is also recognized for his extensive treatment of the subject. This book contains no less than fifty chapters, and among the aspects it touches upon are the unity, the marks of the Church, its offices, its responsibilities and privileges, and its role in the world.

This book is recommended for all Christians, but especially for Church officers.
