CTC5 Jesus Is the Christ

"Jesus Is the Christ" is more than a work on the theology of John's Gospel. It successfully relates each of its teachings to the main objective of this gospel: "these [signs] are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

Our generation still asks, "Who is Jesus?" Leon Morris convincingly demonstrates that the human Jesus is the Christ, or the Messiah, and also the Son of God. He also states that John's purpose was both evangelistic and theological: John wrote his book so that readers could believe in Christ and, thus, obtain eternal life.

Morris is well known for the many commentaries he has written, but especially for his commentary on John in the New International Commentary on the New Testament series, which predates the work you are holding. It will soon be available in Spanish, as it is also part of the Contemporary Theological Collection. Morris is also the author of I Believe in Revelation, The Letters to the Thessalonians, The Revelation, Why Did Jesus Die?, and The Wages of Sin.
