In this excellent commentary, the Reformer John Calvin takes us through the early annals of human history, inspired by the Holy Spirit through the hand of Moses to make known the marvelous works of God, and through them, God Himself as Creator. Even today, we can hold on to the same high perspective Calvin had of the Holy Scriptures and adopt with him the discipline of putting every source of truth under the scrutiny of the Bible. As we undertake this task, let us also lift our gaze to the Author of the universe, and enjoy all that is created, always recognizing Him as the Author of every blessing.
