The book of Judges is full of paradoxes. Its pages contain some of the most famous stories in the Bible along with others hardly known; in them we find very attractive aspects and others that we may consider repulsive; this book teaches us lessons that are both simple and difficult, that show us the depths of sin in humanity, but at the same time, it allows us to contemplate the same sin in the light of God's abundant grace.
