Our postmodern, consumerist, and secularized society worships knowledge and raises altars to everything it understands as "culture." And yet, it has extirpated from its concept of "culture" the idea of God and everything related to the Bible and religion, which has led to a delicate process that is transforming balanced secular education into secularist formation.

A grave error! No one can truly consider themselves "cultured" without a certain knowledge of the Bible, which has produced, and still produces, a profound impact on the way people worldwide think. No other book has been published in more languages, read by more people, and influenced human thought and behavior as much as the Bible.

Secularist doctrine must be countered with special effort and dedication by Christian parents and educators, who must redouble their efforts to provide new generations with the necessary knowledge about the Bible and its message, educating them in its reading. However, this task is becoming increasingly difficult because today's young people completely ignore the meaning of many biblical words and terms that, although familiar to them, mean nothing to them.

This book, therefore, aims to help alleviate this difficulty. Namely, it studies the main words of theological content used in the Bible—such as "holiness," "sin," "justification," "ransom," "repentance"—and thoroughly analyzes their meaning within the context of today's society.

Ultimately, it is a useful and valuable tool for Christian educators and parents, as well as a formative work that all young Christians should read without fail.
