Calvinism, Society, and the Kingdom of God

I was already a Calvinist when I learned about Meeter's book. That Calvinism that resonates in your soul with its five points, but adulterated with ideas that distanced you from the Sola Scriptura of the reformers. I arrived at university and, as a Humanities student, socialist ideas initially captivated me, but there was something that didn't align with what I had learned in the Word of God. The problem was simple: I lacked a biblical worldview; I was more lost than a blind man without a guide. One day, a brother told us about Henry Meeter's book and its content. His insights piqued my curiosity: Does the Bible have answers for politics, art, science, etc.? When I started studying it, it was like coming out of a dense darkness; it was as if a shackle attached to a very heavy iron sphere had been released from me. My Humanities studies took another direction, another meaning. I understood that the Word of God was the inexhaustible source of all truth. I began to understand and enjoy, from the axiom that everything belongs to God—art, music, science, politics, etc. That sin, though it has touched all spheres, owns nothing, and that in every inch of creation, God is sovereign. Henry Meeter's book was my first contact with the Biblical and Reformed Worldview. It made me kneel again and say, along with all creation: "Lord, you are worthy to receive glory and honor and power; for you created all things, and by your will they exist and were created." (Rev. 4:11)
