Indeed, Sketches of the Covenanters is a book about Scottish history, but we would be sectarian if we did not believe that this chronicle is also relevant to us. The Covenanters were Christians, as zealous in their faith as I hope we Latin American Christians can become; and I wish for my country and for the countries where this book in Spanish reaches, that they may nationally surrender at the feet of Christ. This work is translated from the original English. Alejandro González Viveros has done a great job of diligence and devotion in adapting this book. Every term, every word was carefully selected to express with the energy and clarity with which it was originally written. By no means would you be deluding yourself if, after reading this book, you desire a change for your nation; on the contrary, you would have a correct perception of the power of the Gospel through the Holy Spirit. God does not lack power or the desire to do so. From now on, the book is presented with its original images and notes. I hope that a little Church history transforms the current history of the Church in which we participate.
