The author is convinced that the reformers had not gone far enough in their reform of the Romanist church. Its 10 chapters develop the theme of a deeper reformation aimed at the true believer as a reformer and preacher of God's word. Among the topics addressed are the Reformation, human tradition, the Kingdom of Christ and its expansion, the rights and freedom of conscience, the equality of disciples before their Lord, the importance and doctrinal implications of biblical translation, and finally, the order of the early churches.
