World Religions

The World's Religions presents a historical, theological, and practical study of the major non-Christian religions. The initial chapter considers the collection of so-called pre-literate societies' religions, among which the South American Quechua are considered as a case study. Then there are particular chapters on Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, and Confucianism. The editor, Sir Norman Anderson, concludes the book with a Christian approach to comparative religions.
