The text of this version of the Holy Scriptures that we are pleased to present is the Reina-Valera Actualizada 2015 (RVA-2015).
This version of the Holy Scriptures is based on the Reina-Valera Actualizada version, which was partially published by Casa Bautista de Publicaciones/Editorial Mundo Hispano starting in 1982, and as a complete Bible in 1989, and was subsequently revised in 1999 and 2006. The RVA was a revision of the 1909 Reina-Valera, taking into account both Testaments in their original languages and comparing the text with about twenty other ancient and modern versions. The result is a revision that offers many of the benefits of a new translation but retains much of the classic flavor of Casiodoro de Reina's old version (originally published in 1569) and its first revision by Cipriano de Valera (published in 1602).
