A captivating retelling of the Christmas story that shows how God kept his promise to send a new King. Catalina Echeverri's magnificent illustrations and Alison Mitchell's faithful, Bible-centered stories combine to make this a book that both parents and children will adore.
"A long, long time ago – so long it's hard to imagine – God promised a new King. But this wouldn't be just any king, like those we see on TV or in books. This one would be different:
He would be a NEW KING; a RESCUING KING; an ETERNAL KING!"
Join Mary and Joseph, the shepherds, some wise men, and a host of angels, and discover how God kept His promise to send us the best and true King.
"Hooray for a children's retelling of the Christmas story that is biblically faithful and tremendously engaging! "The Promised King" combines a clear and imaginative storytelling style with wonderfully rich and vivid illustrations. It lends itself to reading and rereading. The wonder of The Promised King flies off its pages!" –Susie Bentley - Taylor, co-author of Walking Through the Bible
