My Brother’s Keeper is a most useful book, containing practical and godly advice for older children and teenagers on a wide variety of subjects. Though at times a little antiquated, most of Alexander’s advice is full of wisdom and will greatly help young people who desire to dedicate their lives to God. His advice on reading the Scriptures, showing gratitude to parents, and avoiding bad friendships is particularly clear and beneficial.
