This book contains four expositions in which John Stott's desire was to leave a framework for reading, interpreting, and depending on Scripture.
Uncle John, as he was known by many students and graduates around the world, has been Honorary Vice President and Ambassador of IFES. He was a friend and pastor to successive generations of leaders.
In summary, I believe this book is essential for the life and ministry of all followers of Christ. I can affirm this because I was able to see the life and impact of a man faithful to his convictions who persisted in living consistently with what he expounded in the teachings presented in the book.
