The author of this small book is the famous Dutch theologian Abraham Kuyper, a man of great principles, appointed prime minister of his nation in 1901; editor of a daily newspaper and a religious weekly, founder of the Free University of Amsterdam, and author of over 200 works. For this reason, like all great men, he can say substantial things in a few words, and the suggestive questions that appear at the end of each chapter of this short work are open doors to new thoughts related to his own. There are no more interesting topics for women's meetings than biblical biographies, especially those of New Testament women. Let us not forget that all pastors and preachers can also benefit from the thoughts of such a great author, expressed in clear and simple language.
