Your children do matter

After writing Your Marriage Matters and Your Identity Matters, it was an pending task to continue the saga and publish Your Children Matter, thus completing a trilogy where we address marriage, the crucial role of men, and raising children. This is probably the most important book in this series, because our children not only constitute the natural generational replacement, but due to the education received, they will also be, for future generations, transmitters of faith or, unfortunately, transmitters of the values of a society depraved in many aspects. Here lies the enormous responsibility of educating our children in the values that emanate from the Word of God, so that they are not swept away by the current of a fluid society with which we have to compete.

 

The book is structured into three main parts:

RECEIVING, emphasizes the importance of parenthood in its complementary heterosexual contribution, as well as the different existing family models.

MODELING, explains the evolutionary development of our children up to puberty and adolescence, and presents the keys to a comprehensive education that combines authority, rules, and discipline, with affection, affirmation, and attention, as well as highlighting the need for balanced sex education.

SENDING, explains the importance of living spirituality as a family, knowing the main sources of our children's emotional supply, and valuing what is the best legacy and the greatest inheritance we can leave them.
The main idea, in this proposed structure, is to make parents aware that children are not our property; they are divine gifts and commissions that we receive from God with the responsibility of modeling and consolidating principles of education and training in values, which constitute a solid launching pad, to send them into a hostile world equipped with the right tools.
