The Exemplary Husband

God ordained marriage for companionship, procreation between a husband and his wife, and so that man could have a "suitable helper." However, in His Word, God has more to say to husbands to love their wives than to wives to submit to their husbands. He created marriage to be a picture of the relationship between Christ and the Church. Christ laid down His life as a sacrifice for His church, therefore God expects the same from husbands.

The purpose of "The Exemplary Husband" is to help husbands fulfill the image of Christ with purpose and permanence for the glory of God. It was written as a companion work to "The Excellent Wife" by Martha Peace.
