The Heart of Christianity

THE HEART OF CHRISTIANITY is a ten-week course designed to help people get to know Jesus Christ. Week after week, participants examine the Gospel of Mark, addressing three major questions that are an essential part of Christianity: Who was Jesus? Why did He come? and What does it mean to follow Him?

THE HEART OF CHRISTIANITY course was created for evangelization with the Gospel of Mark and has been designed to be worked on collaboratively by the person responsible for conducting it, the group of instructors who support it, and the people who participate. To this end, three components have been developed for the course:

• a book called How to Conduct the Course
• a Study Guide for participants, and
• another for instructors, the Study Guide: Instructor's Edition.

If one of the three is missing, the Course is incomplete and cannot be carried out. In addition, an identical Bible is used for everyone.

This Pocket Book is part of the series. Its content is based on the Course and bears the same name. And, like the Course, it is free of confusing words, an important reason to facilitate evangelism. It will also help all those who have already taken it to consolidate what they have learned. It can also be used independently to reach those who prefer not to attend a course.
