Jesus’ prayer in John 17 has been called the greatest prayer of all time. Now, one of America’s most respected Bible teachers, Warren Wiersbe, explores each of the rich theological and practical portions of our Lord’s petition. According to Wiersbe, intercessory prayer reveals the priorities and concerns of Jesus as He faced the last hours before His death. By studying this prayer, Christians can learn what was most important to Jesus and make His priorities our own.
The Intercessory Prayer of Christ focuses on the most pressing themes of contemporary Christian life, such as developing an effective prayer life, understanding salvation, making disciples, using spiritual resources, maturity in Christ, forming a genuine community of believers, and balancing truth and love.
