Jacob DeShazer, one of the famous airmen of the Doolittle Raid, the first to attack Japan after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, knew that his dangerous mission had little chance of return. He was taken prisoner of war. Beaten, malnourished, and isolated in his cell, Jacob was left with a Bible and this American soldier found God.
After the war, Jacob returned to Japan and served his former enemies for thirty years as a missionary. His testimony of forgiveness and reconciliation inspires a message of hope for today's world. (1912-2008)
