These lessons have been used for nearly twenty years in large and small Sunday schools and have been carefully revised by the author for presentation in the four-volume series. The first two were enthusiastically received and are being used in many Sunday schools in the United Kingdom, United States of America, Australia, Africa, and, after being translated, in India and Russia.
All the lessons are evangelistic but also present the great events and doctrines of the Bible in such a way that children will not easily forget them. Instructions for visual aids for the different lessons are included.
All of them avoid presenting biblical narratives as mere “stories,” so that the Word of God speaks powerfully to young people, emphasizing the great arguments and pleas of the Gospel.
