Among a variety of religious authorities who championed different teachings, how was it possible to know who was right? How could Christians live a life pleasing to God in the midst of a pagan culture? Paul wrote the letter to the Galatians to address the problems they were facing.
‘There is only one way,’ Paul replied, ‘Jesus Christ.’
His answer is valid for us today as well. The struggles of Christians have changed since Paul's day, but the principles he sets forth in this letter are pertinent and eternal, just like the Lord we exalt.
