The Forgotten God

Powerful. When was the last time someone used that word to describe you? Why do we try to live as if the Holy Spirit isn't real? Is it because we're afraid of being truly led by the Spirit and all that it entails? It makes no sense for almighty God to have children characterized by fear and insecurity. He placed His Spirit in us so that we would be known by our power (Acts 1:8; 2 Timothy 1:7). Sadly, many believers and churches are known for their talent or intellectualism, rather than their power. What's worse is that we're okay with that.
